LONDON — You’ve got to feel a bit sorry for brands on social media.
In today’s hectic digital world of likes, comments and sweet, sweet shares, in order to stay fresh and grow your Facebook page you’ve got to be interesting and original.
The problem is, being interesting and original doesn’t always go down well.
Okay, so admittedly we’ve never tried cornflakes, avocado and feta cheese. It might be eye-openingly wonderful. But the thought of that combination of textures and flavours is definitely a bit odd.
Kellogg’s first shared the idea on Facebook back in September, but it clearly touched a nerve because it’s been intermittently cropping back up again in conversation ever since.
Here’s some of the feedback the idea’s received so far.
